"Self-Portrait, Heavy" by HeatherHorton "Self-Portrait, Heavy" by HeatherHorton
"Self-Portrait, Heavy"
Oil On Canvas

Re-submitting this by request as a print as well...thanks for having a look!

This portrait was completed during a very difficult time. I wanted to try to capture the weight of the world on my shoulders.

Your right hand seems like the world is very light. It seems like you are touching a feather

This painting conveys the feeling, especially the vacant look in your eyes. Very haunting. I sincerely hope that weight has been lifted now!
