I did this little painting for my friend who accompanied me to Bus 142 on the Stampede Trail in August 2008. Such a special time and place. This gravel bar was just beyond the bus on the trail.
I miss Alaska!

Yeah I believe all of that. I want to start painting places and scenes that are not just good for the market I am in but rather ones that will have a more universal appeal as well.
